I have a deep and special affection for nature, herbalism, botany, astronomy, history, folklore, and mythology, just to name a few.

I enjoy gardening and having my hands in the dirt. I love growing things and find that doing so is very cathartic and theraputic for me. Flowers, vegetables, herbs and trees are my favorite kind of company. I appreciate the simplicity and reward of working with plants and with the earth. I also just love being outdoors.

Hiking, caving, and visiting national parks are some of my most favorite away-from-home hobbies .

I'm an avid reader and enjoy creative writing immensely.

I love the changes of the seasons, the feel of a good book in my hands, and copious amounts of hot tea and coffee.
