I've been a professional freelance writer since 2007, while continuing to practice law as an environmental/land use attorney since 1994. I enjoy the flexibility of working from my home, managing my busy family's numerous activities, and dabbling in photography, while training for marathons on the side!

I frequently publish hubs about the many amenities offered in my Central Oregon home of Bend, Oregon. My favorite topics include gardening, recipes and raising a family. I also love writing travel hubs using my own photos and talking about my experiences on the road.
