Thanks for visiting my profile page on Hubpages! My name is Amy and I am a post-college young woman living with her husband in Colorado. I named my site StandingJaguar in homage to my beloved hand-carved, Mexican Jaguar statue (check him out in my profile picture!). I hope to improve and evolve as I learn more about writing online articles.

I am interested in many topics, including women's health, Fertility Awareness, midwifery, cooking, minimalism, and intellectual pursuits. You will probably see me write a lot about health, as this is one of my greatest passions. For me, "health" extends to women's health, lifestyle, and diet. I am a follower of the Weston A. Price Foundation, which advocates traditional (pre-Industrial Revolution) cooking and diets.
